WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • First, you’ll fill out an online intake form and waiver so I can learn more about you and your needs.

  • We meet at the Lifelong Yoga Therapy office on Water’s Edge Drive in Granbury (or via Zoom if you’re not local or prefer to meet online).

  • Our first session will be a 90-minute assessment. We’ll go over your intake form, discuss your goals, and I’ll guide you through some simple movement and breathing practices to assess your strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as your habits of body and mind.

  • This assessment leads into a short yoga practice tailored to you. It will vary depending on the person, but it will likely be a combination of yoga poses, breath techniques, mindfulness practices (like a body scan), and meditation or guided relaxation.

  • We'll discuss your plan for moving forward, whether that includes additional regular yoga therapy sessions or an occasional follow-up session as you implement your home plan of care (your optional “yoga homework”).
